As many of you might have noticed, my artworks tend to have hints of pre-raphaelite influences, a romantic sorrow to them. I admit I am a huge fan of John William Waterhouse and perhaps my own works reflect that. Certainly, my subject choices reveal that inclination towards the more romantic aspect of myths and lore.

My habits follow a more painterly style and I am comfortable with that. The only time I veer from this is when I work on my fashion illustrations. Once in a while, my brain will collaborate against me and that fashion illustration technique will somehow merge with my traditional paintings, creating an oddity, much to my amusement and frustration. I think that tends to occur more in my watercolor and ink paintings.
